Dr. Wright earned his bachelor’s degree in biology in just three years and was accepted to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In 2004, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and moved to Weatherford, Texas where he started Wright Family Dentistry. Through his continuing pursuit of dental education, Dr. Wright received his certifications in Invisalign, dental implant placement and restoration, conscious sedation, and is currently working toward fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. He also maintains professional associations with the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Fort Worth District Dental Society.
Giving back to the community is very important to Dr. Wright who spent three years as the clinical director of a free dental clinic in Parker County. Currently, he donates his time and services to the Weatherford chapter of Give Kids a Smile, a volunteer organization dedicated to providing dental care to underserved children. Dr. Wright has also been treating children at the Pythian Home since 2005. With all these accomplishments, Dr. Wright’s favorite part of dentistry is seeing his patients happy with the outcome of their treatment and smiling from ear to ear!
Originally from West Texas, Dr. Wright was born and raised just outside of Big Spring. He attended Coahoma schools, a small AA district. Upon graduating from Coahoma High School, he married his high school sweetheart, Christy, and they left for The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Wright and Christy now have two beautiful children, Kayley and Kaitlyn. Outside of the office, he unwinds by fishing, hunting, golfing, and flying small aircraft.
