We offer a vast array of services at Wright Family Dentistry that cover all areas of general dentistry. Our services include root canals, extractions, complete and partial dentures, porcelain inlays and onlays. In addition to standard cleanings and fillings we also offer cosmetic procedures as well. All porcelain crowns created in our office in one visit with Computer Assisted Design/Computer Assisted Machined technology.

There is no need for temporary crowns or any impression material that can cause you to gag. We prepare the tooth for the crown, take a picture with a camera, put it into a computer design the crown, and a machine at the back of the office mills out the custom made crown from a block of porcelain. The fit and esthetics are amazing. The entire procedure from start to finish is about one and a half hours, and you don’t have to come back for a second visit! We also do veneers, bonding, and whitening. Veneers are slender pieces of porcelain that are bonded to the front surfaces of teeth. They are used to correct shape and/or color discrepancies in teeth.

Bonding composite is tooth colored filling material that can be shaped to correct color and shape as veneers can, however they are not considered as long-term and tend to stain more than porcelain veneers.

Our in-office whitening system that we use is the Zoom! system that you may have heard of. We place bleach on the teeth in our office and the Zoom light is placed on the bleach. This is done several times and over the period of about 45 minutes you get a dramatic change in the color of your teeth. We compound this whitening effect by making you custom trays and giving you bleach so that you can continue to whiten your teeth to your desired color.

We have recently expanded our services to include placing dental implants. Dental implants are the most natural and esthetic way to replace missing teeth. A dental implant is a cylinder piece of titanium that fits into the bone where the tooth’s previous roots were. We then can use this “metal root” to attach a standard crown on. The look is more natural and they last longer than any other replacement option for teeth. They preserve the bone height in the area and you can floss them like normal teeth. They also can be used to help hold dentures into place, or to replace dentures with a full set of teeth that do not move around or come out
